Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Thomas Blackshear's painting "Forgiven" inspired me to borrow his idea and insert me as a self portrait. The powerful message of forgiveness cannot be denied in this painting of Jesus carrying the sinner while he's holding the hammer and nails.
Mike Jenkins has been waterlogged since the summer he was born. Mike Jenkins' Granddad was a sailor. His Dad was a charter boat captain. This is why Mike Jenkins paints boats, beaches, birds, beasts and the occasional portrait. Most of Mike's inspiration for painting comes from God and the sea. Mike started drawing and painting in the early 1970s. Mike's mentor was Sidney E King who painted nearly 200 murals for the National Park Service and the largest Mural painted in the USA. Later Mike studied with Kristopher Meadows, one of the most inspiring portrait painters in the southeast and an honors graduate of the Savannah College of Arts and Design.
